Bensa Tutorial Student Portal — Parent Guide

Smart practice that targets your child’s weak spots

What it is

An online practice platform for our students, at learning.bensatutorial.com.sg.

Your child logs in, picks a topic, and chooses how many questions they want — 5, 10 or 20. They work through them one at a time. Every answer is marked, and a written explanation appears straight away, so a mistake is explained while the question is still fresh in mind.

You can see exactly where your child stands

A worksheet tells your child they got 6 out of 10. This tells them which four they missed, what those four had in common, and what to practise next.

Their progress page shows three things:

  • How each topic is going — accuracy in grammar, vocabulary, and everything they have practised.
  • A closer look inside each topic — broken into skill groups, so “grammar is weak” becomes something you can act on.
  • Week by week — this week against the last several.

And then it does something about it

  • A question they get wrong comes back. About a week later, options shuffled. Getting it right then counts.
  • The weak skills are named in plain words — a short list your child can read themselves.
  • One tap starts practice on that skill alone. A targeted practice set, aimed at their weak spots.
  • No wasted time. Practice steers away from what they have recently got right.

One request

Please let your child answer on their own. The platform works out what to practise next from those answers — an answer a parent helped with sends it off track, and costs your child the second chance they should have had.

Getting started

  1. Your child will be given a login ID and password directly by us.
  2. Open the portal on a phone, tablet or computer — from our website, or by going to learning.bensatutorial.com.sg.
  3. Where to find it on our website: a link on the homepage, and on a phone in the menu at the top of the screen.

There are no advertisements and nothing to buy inside the platform, and it is included in what you already pay.

Putting it on the home screen (optional, but worth it)

You will not find the portal in the App Store or Google Play, and it does not need to be there. It is a website that can add itself to the home screen as an icon: nothing is downloaded, it takes almost no space, and it is always up to date because it is the website. Tapping the icon opens it full-screen without the browser bars — that is all “behaves like an app” means.

  • On Android: open the portal in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu at the top right, then Add to home screen → Install.
  • On iPhone: open the portal in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen → Add.

To remove it later, press and hold the icon and delete it, like anything else on the phone. Nothing is left behind.
